Gisle Grave is an experienced leader and advisor. He has been connected to TNGC since its early days and became actively involved in 2019. Gisle has broad leadership experience from both the private and public sectors, holding roles such as CEO, CFO, Director of Research & Development, and Statistician. He holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Physics from NTNU, with additional education in Business Administration.

In 2022, he was awarded Interim Leader of the Year in recognition of his ability to quickly take on responsibility in demanding situations and deliver results through effective change management. During his interim role at Presto, he first stepped in as CFO during a challenging period and later took over as CEO. The jury highlighted his ability to engage the team and secure strong results.

Gisle works closely with organizations over time, often combining strategic advisory, leadership support, and operational contributions. He also provides career guidance for leaders and key personnel, with a focus on awareness, role development, and sustainable career choices. In addition, he helps leaders and teams onboard new employees quickly and effectively – in a way that strengthens culture, ownership, and performance.

He has completed the Board Program at NHH and has solid expertise in corporate governance, strategy, and risk management. With experience from companies with various ownership structures – from start-ups to publicly listed companies – he has deep insight into decision-making processes, owner expectations, and implementing change.

Gisle is known for his strong analytical ability and talent for simplifying complex challenges. He quickly creates clarity, prioritizes what matters, and ensures progress in processes. At the same time, he combines this with high social competence and a genuine passion for people and development.

He is a ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a Gallup®-certified coach, using dialogue, coaching, and structured leadership development as tools to strengthen individuals and teams. He is dedicated to recognizing and realizing potential, with a clear focus on enabling others to succeed – in practice, not just in theory.
