Toril founded TNG Consulting in 2009, and as a trainer and coach she challenges people to become the best version of themselves. She is passionate about helping leaders grow, as it benefits both their people’s well-being and overall performance.
Toril has a unique ability to build trust and create engagement. Toril can be a tough coach; she combines support with challenge, encouraging her clients to take responsibility for themselves, their relationships, and their results. Leaders coached by Toril become more aware of their values and learn to anchor their leadership in them. Increased confidence, clearer communication, more aligned expectations, and stronger role understanding are frequently highlighted outcomes of her coaching.
Her core expertise is leadership coaching, as well as designing courses and development programs for leaders. Together with Jenny Bergh, Toril has written a range of development programs under the LEARN Coaching brand, and she also teaches at Coaching Academy.
She is an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) and has served two years as President of ICF Norway. Toril holds a Master’s degree in Values-Based Leadership, in addition to being a trained educator. Before founding TNG Consulting, she spent nine years in international shipping, including as HR Manager, and she has also worked as a secondary school teacher.
